My journey into nutrition and health counseling began with my

personal experiences. In my younger years, I faced several health issues, including allergies, asthma, eczema, digestive problems (IBS), weight fluctuations and general fatigue.

These challenges prompted me to explore alternative health solutions, as conventional methods didn’t provide the relief I sought.

My turning point came when I discovered the concept of  food combining and the acid/alkaline balance. By adjusting my diet and applying food combining principles, I noticed significant improvements in my health, digestion (IBS disapeared), allergies, asthma, and in my energy levels.

From there on, I focused on the gut, as I knew, once my digestion was in balance, I would no loger suffer from any diseases. The positive changes inspired me to dive deeper into nutrition, the microbiome and holistic health.

Motivated by my results, I decided to pursue formal training as a nutritionist and health consultant. Through my studies, I gained a comprehensive understanding of how diet, lifestyle, gut health, and holistic practices could be used to support well-being.

I was influenced by

  • Herbert Shelton ( Food combining, National Health Association NHA)
  • Bruce Lipton (Epi Genetics)
  • Andrew Weil (Founder of Integrative Medicine),
  • Dr. Mark Hyman (American physician and leader in functional medicine)
  • Deepak Chopra (mind-body wellness, spirituality, and integrative medicine)
  • Colin Campbell  (biochemist and author of The China Study, major figure in the plant-based movement)
  • Louise Hay (mentor for holistic health)

In 1994 I began to offer dietary guidance and nutrition advice to others. Over time, I transitioned into writing, speaking, and hosting workshops, becoming a trusted voice in Denmark on matters of nutrition and health.

My personal health journey, combined with my passion for helping others, fueled my path toward becoming a successful nutritionist and author.
